 CommentsDevious Comments Thank you so much. As I have made several brown helmets and gasmasks, I wanted to make this one black. But black is so monotone that I decided to put in some red and violet undertones, as you can see in the photo. I am also limiting the metal parts to silver color (as much as possible). The accompanying gasmask that I am still working on should really round out the "head" of the costume. I don't really do below the neck, but I agree it would be nice to have that done.

The design is fairly duotone, but it actually works extremely well for this piece, whereas it might be detrimental towards some other pieces.
This looks like just one part of an impressive uniform, and It'd be amazing to see this turned into just one piece of a costume. It'd be supremely interesting to see what you'd do with a pickax.
